What are bridging naps?

Are you struggling to shift your baby’s early morning wakes or catnaps during the day? 😫🆘

For babies under the age of 6 months, we may suggest incorporating a 10-15 minute ‘bridging nap’ to help get them through to their scheduled nap time and prevent them from becoming excessively overtired 🤞🏻. However, it is important to cap this nap to avoid them sleeping too long, which could lead to resistance at their scheduled nap time ⚠️

As a general guide, a bridging nap is typically incorporated around 7:30am, 10:30am, or 2:30pm ⏰

Do you have a notorious catnapper or early riser? Let us know if you have used this technique!
